About Me
JR Belt, EA
I was born and raised in Kentucky. I attended Southern High School in Louisville, KY and later graduated to earn a college scholarship to play baseball at Spalding University. During my time at Spalding, I was given the opportunity to work many blue collar jobs. This allowed me to experience how many different industries functioned on a day to day basis. Each industry and their many processes inspired me to study towards an accounting degree to help alleviate the tax and accounting side of running a business from blue collar business owners.
Education
I double majored at Spalding University receiving my Bachelors of Science in Accounting and Business Administration.
I earned my Masters of Science in Business Communication.
I passed the Enrolled Agent Exam with the Internal Revenue Service allowing me to practice before the IRS.
Experience
I have worked in the public accounting field for over 6 years. I have worked with a wide range of small to medium sized businesses and have served as their accountant and advisor over the years.
